Hello art friends, happy new year to all!

Some exciting news for me to share is that I'm now 'Artist in Residence' at the 2nd floor offices of the BC Ministry of Health in downtown Victoria!  So very grateful to display some large artworks to those working & passing through these offices, while I wait for exhibit & show opportunities commencing at later dates.  A key element of the BC Health Ministry is their team of exceptionally supportive women who when presented with this idea embraced it and ran with it.  I am a happy artist.  Ahh... if only the world were run by more good women... :)  Below are a few photos of some of them gracing the walls there.

In BC we are supposed to receive our vaccine between April - June.  Woohoo!  The light at the end of the tunnel is finally coming!  Keeping me (mainly) sane during this time has been studio time and a little outdoor painting when the winter rains stop.  Here's my new painting 'Saxe Point View' below; it's 24 x 18 inches and is oil on cradled birch panel.

Above is a 10 x 8 inch oil on birch panel 'Mt Baker From Marina' done from my car in the parking lot of the Oak Bay marina.  We had glorious sunshine, but too cold for me to paint outside, so the car was the next best solution.

As I produce new work, I try to regularly update my artist website.

My Etsy shop, CottageBeachArt is updated with many small (and even some large) paintings available too.  New west coastal themed reclaimed wood magnets are new 'little's' in shop, with photo images from Holly @travelbugs01.

Stay positive, and sending arty hugs your way
